Should change Gibraltar and Caustic abilities.

This is strictly a theoretical thread on how to possibly make these guys more useful for the team to increase their pick rate and make them less of the meme similar to Mozambique.Gibraltar: Pretty much the main reason I created this thread was to suggest the idea of changing his ultimate to giving out temporary gun shields for his allies. I think it fits better for his lore, role, and even tryhards won’t be able to complain about his hit box as much since he gives said try hard an invaluable resource, survivability. I was thinking an animation similar to Rook with body plates in r6 siege. https://ift.tt/2K8crtM I get that his abilities revolve around gassing and zoneing enemies out but an ultimate that does basically the same thing as his Tactical ability feels a bit lackluster mix in the fact his gas hinders team visibility and mobility(nosprinting) and you’re left wanting to insta leave anytime he gets picked. I don’t understand how he falls under the defensive role with such a hinderance to the team, he feels more like a selfish assault class with a bad design strictly opinion of course. So my suggestion is to make his Tactical sticky canisters (similar to the giant ones he carries around) that can still block doors when placed properly and still has a setup time before it is armed. His ultimate should stack similar to his tactical and he tosses a directed teammate a gas mask. The animation can be caught and put on with 1 hand similar to an octane tactical so your teammate can still shoot.I know what I’m suggesting is a bit of a stretch but tell me what you guys think, I want to hear your ideas and if there was already a thread on this I wouldn’t mind taking my wall of text there instead so go ahead and link it. via /r/apexlegends https://ift.tt/2OECnMf
