Fat Thor? Fortnite? Are you kidding me? Nearly all but the final ending battle was ridiculous and clearly aimed at middle school ages kids and younger. This movie will not age well, Marvel Studios was too invested in appealing to a group right now than creating an actual good movie. Fortnite, like all other video games, is a fad and is already rapidly losing popularity.
There was too much surface level one-liner jokes and it took away from the essence of the Avengers movies. If I wanted to go watch a bad comedy I’d watch an Adam Sandler movie. Captain America has “America’s ass” is a stupid joke.
Also, the entire story feels like a reach by Marvel to try and make a new movie. “They have nearly ran out of people to fight - let’s make them get into quarrels with themselves FROM THE PAST”
There may have been the occasional uplifting part like “I love you 3000” but not enough to offset the rest of this torpedo movie.
