Why I Prefer the OG Hearteater The guitar on the OG version is wildly nostalgic. It’s similar to the uplifting guitar riffs on “Freebird” and “Stairway to Heaven”. Like I can definitely imagine this song being in “Forrest Gump”. Also, the guitar in the OG version is more prominent in the second chorus; it’s as if the song was inviting the audience to belt the lyrics out too. I don’t feel that same energy with the newer version. Don’t get me wrong, the new version is definitely CLEANER. But it’s the same problem Lil Uzi Vert has when he remastered “XO Tour Llif3” (iykyk). What do y’all think?
